Rumor that the OPPO’s first dual-camera smartphone will be unveiled on the 10th of June. Wonder why it’s not on the 11th since the company is naming it OPPO R11.
This info was leaked in a form of poster shared by a Weibo user that has the name and the date on it. Beside that OPPO has been sharing a few videos of their upcoming new smartphone and introduced the new brand ambassador.
These are rumored specification the new devices. As you may expected, the company are now focusing on camera instead of powerhouse like flagship SoC.
We are expecting 2 variants of the R11, the standard and Plus. The R11 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mated with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The highlight of the device of course is the rear dual camera setup; a combo of 16 megapixel plus a 20 megapixel camera. There are no details on how’s the dual camera setup works, it could be the tele + wide (like ZenFone 3, iPhone 7) or the mono + color (Huawei P9/P10) setup.
The standard R11 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and to keep the lights on is a 2,900 mAh battery. As for the Plus variants, it get a 6-inch Full HD display and has bigger battery capacity of 3,880 mAh.
