As per mentioned previously, the OPPO F5 will have three variants; standard OPPO F5, 6GB and Youth. The 6GB will be announced on the 6th of December whereby the Youth variant will be made available slightly early.

The OPPO F5 Youth is a budget version of the F5-series but without sacrificing many specifications. It still powered by the same processor, MediaTek Helio P23, the FullView 6-inch Full HD+ display and AI Beauty Recognition Technology. No changes in term of design.

The difference were smaller RAM, storage, and cameras. The F5 Youth sports 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a 16-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and a 13-megapixel f/2.2 front-facing camera.

Like the standard OPPO F5, it runs on ColorOS3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

The OPPO F5 Youth is priced at RM 1,098 which is cheaper by RM 200 compare it to the OPPO F5. It will be available nationwide starting 2nd of December 2017.
