OnePlus Two Wasn’t The Cheapest 2016 Flagship Device, Micromax Yu5050 Snapdragon 810, 4GB RAM, CyanogenOS 12.1 Under US$320

OnePlus Two was one of the most anticipated flagship smartphone this year due to it highend spec and crazily cheap price tag.

Games has changed when there are more manufacturer coming out with near cost smartphone which make possible when they sell it directly to endusers. OnePlus and Xiaomi is a good example. Micromax is an Indian consumer electronics company headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, India and expecting to announce a new flagship smartphone tomorrow. Micromax has been producing a few smartphones in collaborate with Cyanogen Inc. and all of its smartphones are running on Cyanogen OS.

The rumor smartphone name Micromax Yu5050 expected to be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 mated with 4GB of RAM and sport a full HD 5.2-inch display. Yu5050  will be pre-installed with CyanogenMod 12.1 and it comes with fast charging. It will be featuring a 21 megapixel rear shooter and an 8 megapixel front selfie camera.

Rumor suggest that Yu5050 will be priced under US$320 that mean cheaper by US$ 69 compare with OnePlus Two, 4GB variant.

Micromax is holding a media event tomorrow to launch this phone.

Unfortunately this smartphone are not available here in Malaysia but its good to know there are such smartphone available and running familiar Cyanogen OS. Maybe local manufacture will bring in to Malaysia market since it has a quite affordable price tag.
