OnePlus 5T is Now Official – 18:9 Display Ratio & New Camera Setup

Despite the company’s latest flagship OnePlus 5 that was only released 6 months ago, OnePlus live up their moto “Never Settled” and released a more 2017 flagship smartphone while maintaining same price point.

The most noticeable difference of the new OnePlus 5T is the display. Now it sports a 6-inch AMOLED 18:9 display ratio with 1,080p Full HD resolution, surrounded by much smaller size bezel and chin.

Internally it specced with the same with current OnePlus 5, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB onboard storage, 16-megapixel front camera and a 3.300 mAh battery that support dash charge.

OnePlus introduced new camera system on the 5T where it comes with a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel f/1.7 aperture camera configuration and same focal length. The new 20-megapixel sensor is used for low-light shooting for better details and sharpness according to the company. Portrait mode now should work similarly with Huawei’s dual camera setup that doesn’t rely on telephoto lens.

The OnePlus 5T will go on sale in the US, Europe, and India from 21st November and be retailing at US$ 499 (about RM 2,090) and US$ 559 (RM 2,340) for 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variant respectively. No words it will be available in Malaysia anytime soon.
