Great news to all realme users, realme has confirmed all their older gen smartphones will be getting a software update to ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9.0 Pie. This was answered on realme’s weekly FAQ #17.

First, it starts off with realme 2 Pro expected on 15th May onwards, followed by realme 1 and U1 on 5th June and lastly realme 2 and C1 on 15th June. It may begin with a beta test rollout which will be phased to stable ROM within 15 to 20 days according to realme.

Hyper Boost 2.0 will also come to realme 2 Pro and realme U1 when upgrading to ColorOS 6.0.
