Samsung Mobile has just unveiled their latest flagship Note-series, Galaxy Note9. As what rumor speculated, the Note9 has minimum design overhaul compared it to the Note8.
There are a few new features introduced on the Note9 including the new SoC, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (US Region Only) and Exynos 9820 (International Market). Malaysia will be getting the Exynos variants. It comes with 2 variants; 6GB of RAM plus 128GB onboard storage and 8GB of RAM plus 512GB storage. The storage can be further expanded via microSD card slot located on the second nanoSIM slot.
It sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD+ resolution display.
The Galaxy Note9 also features a new S-Pen that has Bluetooth connectivity where you can use the S-Pen for more other function like taking photos, skip presentation slide and much more. Since it’s Bluetooth enabled, the S-Pen is required to charge and it will be charged when the S-Pen slotted in back into the Note9. It will only take less than 40 seconds to fully charge the S-Pen.
Below the device alongside with the S-Pen is 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, microphone and down-firing speaker.
The fingerprint scanner now relocated below the dual 12-megapixels cameras and the wide angles camera get dual-aperture (f/1.5 & f/2.4)
The battery now bumped to 4,000 mAh battery which is a huge step up compared to Note8.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 comes in 4 colors; Metallic Copper, Lavender Purple, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is available for pre-order starting today and the prices are RM 3,699 and RM 4,599 for 6GB+128GB and 8GB+512GB respectively.
