[OFFICIAL] HUAWEI Mate X – World’s Fastest 5G Foldable Phone that Cost € 2,299 (MYR 10,626)

At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019, HUAWEI has officially unveiled the HUAWEI Mate X that claimed to be the world’s fastest 5G foldable phone in the market.

The HUAWEI Mate X features the Falcon Wing Mechanical Hinge that makes the folding possible, HUAWEI’s latest 7nm multi-mode model chipset Balong 5000 and a large 4,500 mAh battery supporting the world’s fastest 55W HUAWEI SuperCharge (85% battery @ 30 min).

It comes with three display mode, front, back and tablet mode. The front gave a conventional 6.6-inch 19.5:9 screen ratio with a second tall display at 6.38-inch with 25:9 screen ratio. Once the display open and turned into tablet mode, it turned into an almost square display with an 8-inch 8:7.1 screen ratio.

There are a Leica triple camera setup combined the use for front and rear usage. No details on what’s the focal and sensor size at the moment.

The HUAWEI Mate X is powered by HUAWEI Kirin 980 and expected to be available in the mid of 2019 at the price of € 2,299 that translated into MYR 10,626
