Today Huawei has officially announced the availability of their 2015 flagship smartphone, Huawei Honor 7. This smartphone has received an overwhelmed respond of 9 millions pre-orders in China when it was announced.
Honor 7 uses metal alloy chassis for more robust built and lightweight at the same time reflect the premiumship design.
It sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Powered with 64-bit Kirin 935 processor, an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53, clocked up to 2.2GHz and mated with 3GB of RAM.
A 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Camera wise, it has a 20 megapixel f/2.0 SONY IMX230 sensor that feature Phase Detection Auto Focus. Sapphire glass lens were uses for additional protection as the camera protruded. On Selfie department, it has an 8 megapixel wide angle lens.
A fast and accurate fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera and Huawei claimed it able to unlock the phone in 0.5 seconds. It also featured a unique smart key that offers special functions such as press and hold to activate voice commands, double-press ro open smartcase, Huawei’s version of predictive personal assistant.
The Honor 7 offers 3,100mAh battery that support fast charging, unfortunately the fast charging charger sold separately.
It will be running on Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Huawei Honor 7 will be available for pre-order today from 1pm onward on Vmall.my for RM 1,399. That price is against the Huawei Honor 6 Plus.
