HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones today announced the Nokia 4.2 that has premium built and design at a more accessible price. The device uses glass sandwiches the polycarbonate frame and metal internal structure. It has a dedicated Google Assistant button for faster and seamless access.
It sports a 5.71-inch HD+ resolutions display with a waterdrop notch that houses an 8-Megapixels selfie camera. Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can further expand via microSD card. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports biometric facial recognition security. The rear camera is a 13-Megapixels f/2.2 + 2-Megapixels f/2.2 depth sensor.
The Nokia 4.2 runs on Android One, meaning the device will get the latest Android updates and software experience. Google also promised, three years of monthly security patches and two major OS updates, meaning it will get Android Q and Android R.
Nokia 4.2 is available in two colours, Black and Pink Sand at a recommended retail price of RM 599. It will be available beginning 26th April 2019 at major Nokia’s stores and authorized dealers.
