“Bendgate” has been making “hoo ha” when the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus announced and not this test has become standard for people to test durability of newly launched smartphone.

A YouTuber, JerryRigEverything has uploaded 2 videos performing various stress tests on the Huawei-made, Nexus 6P. The first video actually executed few stress tests before the bend test, there are some commenters
suggest the heat/flame test may have weakened the chassis.

So the YouTuber bought a brand new Nexus 6P and perform the bend test right out of box.

From the second video you will find the bend test was effortless just like the first video. He did commented that the build is very bad and the metal frame are purely cosmetics purpose.

Some may comment that who would actually bend their own phone but accident does happen. Some may keep their phone in their tight jean’s pocket which may lead of bending the phone if it doesn’t have stiff frame to hold the force. Aside that, JerryRigEverything did few bend test on few flagship smartphones and there are few survivors; LG G4, Note 5, iPhone 6s, Galaxy S6, S6 edge, OnePlus Two.
