Meizu 17-series Launched. Two Variants; Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro

Meizu has released theirs latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro. The device didn’t receive well in Malaysia therefore we are not sure the devices will be reaching to Malaysia anytime soon.

Meizu 17 has most of the 2020 flagship specced including the Qualcomm top-tier chipset; Snapdragon 865 5G SA/NSA, 90Hz refresh rate display and latest camera sensor.

Both of the device are identical except the body materials and the rear camera setup. The duo sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Samsung SuperAMOLED display with supports of 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 90Hz refresh rate display and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also has a hole-punch on the top right corner that houses a 20-megapixels camera sensor.

Built wise, the Meizu 17 uses all-glass front and rear where the Meizu 17 Pro feature ceramic body.

It packed with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB USF 3.1 storage technology. Both packed with 4,500 mAh battery that supports 30W Super mCharge fast charge technology and the Pro variants get Super Wireless mCharge at 27W as well as supports reverse wireless charging.

Rear camera setup wise, the Meizu 17 equipped with 64-megapixels SONY IMX686 camera sensor, 12-megapixels IMX362 portrait/telephoto lens, an 8-megapixels ultra-wide-angle and a dedicated 5-megapixels macro lens that can go as close at 2.5cm.

As for the Meizu 17 Pro, it features the same 64-megapixels SONY IMX686 main camera sensor, a 8-megapixels telephotos camera that can capture up to 8x lossless zoom (26mm – 210mm), a new 32-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lens and a brand new Samsung S5K33D 3D depth sensing camera for better bokeh effect.
