Another great Kickstarter project by Scott William, MINIMAL a protection case for the best selling smartwatch, the Apple Watch.

LUNATIK Epik designed a premium, rugged refined, precision case and strap for The Apple Watch. The case is forged from aluminum alloy and premium performance materials that can with stand extreme wears condition. It full cover the surrounding and protects the device. It paired with an anti-dust/dirt coated silicon sport strap or aluminium link bracelet with silicone sub-link and butterfly clasp provide comfort and durability. The Active-Control Crown provides enhanced control of Apple’s Digital Crown in extreme conditions.

As mentioned by the LUNATIK, watch doesn’t really required additional protection but the Apple Watch is not a typical, nor is it designed to perform in extreme situations where a true sport watch might.

This is how the installation of the protective case.

Currently they are only focusing on creating Epik for Apple Watch 42mm and you may use your preferred leather strap.

There will be 2 option of aluminum case to choose from; Silver or Black and Silicon Sport Band or Aluminum Link Bracelet (Plus FREE Silicon Sport Band)

The starting price for Epik case is from US$ 125 and early bird can own it for US$ 100 buy backing up this project. This project will only be funded when the pledged reached at least US$ 100,000 by 16th Jun 2015 and currently they have raised US$ 36,792.

Own an Apple Watch or soon? You may consider getting this while waiting for your Apple Watch to reach your hand. The targeted first shipment delivery is 11st September if the project reached their goal funding.
