LG’s First UltraGear Gaming Laptop – LG UltraGear 17G90Q

LG Electronics today unveiled its first gaming laptop, expanding its premium UltraGear lineup.

The LG UltraGear 17G90Q is a 17-inch gaming laptop that will be powered by Intel 11th Gen Tiger Lake H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 Max-Q graphics card. The laptop is also configured with dual-channel memory and an ultra-fast dual NVMe SSD setup.

The Full HD IPS panel has a fast 1-ms response time and a high 300Hz refresh rate. Ports and connectivity; 1x USB C 4 Gen3 (supports USB PD and Thunderbolt 4), 2x USB C 3.2 Gen2 (supports USB OD & DisplayPort), 1x USB A 3.2 Gen2, 3.5mm combo audio port, HDMI, Gigabit LAN port and a microSD card reader. The LG UltraGear 17G90Q is equipped with an IR camera, a fingerprint scanner on the power button, WiF-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

Sharing DNA with LG’s lightweight gram laptops, the 17G90Q is a streamlined, highly portable design. Packed with a large 93Wh battery while measuring thickness under 21.4mm and weight of less than 2.7kg.

LG’s first gaming laptop LG UltraGear 17G90Q will initially be available in the United States and South Korea in the first quarter of 2022 with other markets to follow.
