ZUK is a company newly established in May this year and this company is invested by Lenovo Group Ltd.

ZUK has a partnership with Cyanogen and it first smartphone ZUK Z1 will be preloaded the latest Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1.

The ZUK Z1 will the second Cyanogen OS smartphone that set for sales internationally after OnePlus One.

Its the second smartphone that adopt USB Type C after OnePlus 2. ZUK Z1 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. It has 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Z1 has a quite generous battery capacity of 4,100 mAh and fingerprint scanner on it home button. From the photo, the home button look like a capacity touch instead of press-able button.

On the rear sat a SONY IMX214 13 megapixels camera and an 8 megapixel front facing camera.

The ZUK Z1 currently available in China that cost around US$ 285 (about RM 1,190) and ZUK will be announcing more about the global Z1 on August 21.
