Lenovo Announced K5 Note Smartphone Features Metal Unibody, New MediaTek Helio P10 &B Fingerprint Sensor For US$ 167

Lenovo has just announced a new phablet, K5 Note that powered by MediaTek Helio P10. It’s a mid range Octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. Not like it others K-series smartphone, it has now ditched the plastic build material and wore a full metal body.

It sport a 5.5-inch FHD dusplay and packed a 3,500mAh battery to keep the lights on. It get a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot supported.

Cameras wise, it integrated with a 13 megapixel rear shooter with PDAF assist for fast auto and an 8 megapixel front selfie camera. It comes with three microphones for noise cancellation and a fingerprint sensor on the back for phone unlocking and payments use.

K5 Note supported dual SIM, dual standby and feature VoLTE. Like others new Lenovo smartphone, it get a premium sound, supporting Dolby Atmos Surround System.

The device will be running on VIBE UI on top of Android 5.1, and it will be upgraded to Marshmallow very soon.

The K5 Note is now open for registration in China and comes in two colors; Silver and Gold. Price at RMB 1,099 (approx. RM 720 / US$ 167 and quite competitive with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
