Kingston Technology launched its first hardware-encrypted USB Type-C drive, Vault Privacy 50C (IKVP50C).

This drive can protect data against BadUSB and Brute Force attacks with the FIPS 197 Certified & XTS-AES 256-bit hardware-encrypted Vault Privacy 50 series. Features Multi-Password Option with Complex or Passphrase modes that let users choose a numeric PIN, sentences with space characters, or a list of words so their password is easy to remember but harder for others to guess.
Available in storage capacities of 8G to up 256GB with USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed class. No pricing and availability for the Vault Privacy 50C were mentioned.
