iQOO, the sub-gaming brand of vivo has announced its 2020’s gaming smartphone and the second device to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest yet most powerful processor, Snapdragon 888.
The iQOO7 is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It get a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution with a variable 120Hz refresh rate and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate. The company also claimed that the device can even “Overclocked” up to 1,000Hz instant touch sampling rate. Not that all, to increase better gaming experience, the display also features pressure sensitivity on the top left and right area in landscape more for more controls in gaming.
Camera wise are triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixels primary camera with OIS, 13-megapixels ultra with angle and a 13-megapixels telephoto. There’s also a 13-megapixels hole-punch notch in the top right center of the display.
Keeping the lights on is a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. This is made possible by splitting the battery into two 2,000 mAh cells and allows the iQoo7 to reach a full charge in 15 minutes from flat.
There are three colour options; Light Blue, Black and a White BMW M-sport which iQOO collaborate with BMW. There are only two configurations offered in China, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB; pricing at RMB 3,798 (~RM 2,377) and RMB 4,198 (~RM 2,628) respectively. No words it will go to global market anytime soon.
