I know it’s not a direct comparison but I attempted to blend into the Apple Ecosystem since I made the switch from Windows PC to mac mini early this year. You can check my video here about why I made the switch;
You are not here for the mac mini but why I’m switching back to Android after using the Apple iPhone 13 for about 3 months only. There are so many good things to talk about how good the Apple iPhone 13 but there are 7 significant reasons for me to switch specifically to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G.
Display

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has the brightest and most advanced AMOLED panel with QWHD+ resolution, a 1,750 nits max peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate LTPO 2.0. The Vision Booster uses AI to improve color reproduction even at maximum brightness.

It also supports HDR10+ video content and is L1 Widevine certified to stream content at the highest resolution possible.
Camera

In my article about the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G cameras, it has the most complete camera setup array covering from ultrawide to 30x hybrid zoom that is still usable for social media sharing and even for printing.
The best camera is the one in your pocket and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G is probably the best-est compared to others. It can shoot in RAW, high resolution of up to 108-megapixels images and 8K video recording. It also has become my trusty camera for any holiday trip and also event coverage when I am lazy to bring out my mirrorless camera.
Lightning Port

All modern Android smartphones, tablets, including PC, monitors, and as well as their own Apple iPads have moved to USB C which is not only more standardized but faster. The self-willed using the proprietary connector on such expensive smartphones creates hassles for almost every task, not just for charging, it includes media backup, transfer, and sharing for non Apple devices.
I may need to bring an additional lightning cable just for my iPhone whenever I go out.
Switching Phone

This may not be relevant to everyone, I do tests and review a bunch of smartphones (most of them are Android) that would require me to swap out my SIM card to new devices, and transferring between iOS to Android is very much broken.
Switching from Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G to any other Android smartphone or vice versa is seamless while retaining all my data and backup.
Native Dual SIM

Despite the Apple iPhone 13 supporting dual SIM but it only takes 1 physical and 1 eSIM. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, which features dual SIM + 1 eSIM, still, it is only limited to 2 networks. If you are traveling abroad you can have a local SIM on your SIM2 while keeping your existing line active.
S Pen

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G is the first Galaxy S-series with S Pen support built right into the device. It has a lot of neat features like screen selection, live messages, translation, quick note-taking, and support air gestures control. My best use is remote photo taking when come to group photos, quick note-taking, and translating foreign languages.
Samsung Dex

With the Samsung Dex, I can extend my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G into a full-size desktop experience. It can be connected to a large TV or monitor wirelessly together with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
The Samsung Dex is a productivity powerhouse that can handle Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom Cloud Meeting, Cisco Webex Meetings, Skype, Adobe Acrobat, and many more.
All these are just my personal reasons that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G works best for me.
You can own the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G from RM 5,099. I would highly recommend you spend an extra RM 400 to double up the storage to 256GB. As I’m writing this, Samsung Malaysia is still offering a free Samsung Galaxy Watch4 (40mm) worth RM 899, and 6 months of 100GB OneDrive cloud storage when you purchase it from the Samsung E Store. You can get it from your favorite telco with the best value and promo.
