[IFA 2015] Huawei Introduces Force Touch Technology Ahead Apple. Huawei Mate S


Huawei today announced a new flagship smartphone at IFA in Berlin, Mate S. It’s the first ever smartphone that feature Force Touch technology that recognise pressure applied on the touchscreen. This technology was rumors the new Apple iPhone 6s will be featured.

The Huawei Mate S sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD display with full metal unibody design. It powered with Kirin 935 octa-core SoC coupled with a 3GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB variants internal storage to choose. The back of the Mate S features a 13 megapixels OIS camera with a fingerprint sensor below it. As for the front, there’s an 8 megapixels front facing camera.

A non removable 2,700mAh battery packed inside and a microSD card slot available for storage expansion.

“Knuckle Sense 2.0” technology was features that let you use your knuckles to perform various actions.

The Huawei Mate S comes with four colours; Coral Pink, Prestige Gold, Titanium Gray and Mystique Champagne.

It will be available in more than 30 countries and western Europe will be the first countries to accept pre-orders begin 15th September.

The standard 32GB model will be priced at €649 (about RM 3,090), where the 64GB will be at €699 (about RM 3,318). Force Touch technology will only be available with the 128GB model and will be launching later this year, no words on the pricing.
