HUAWEI Malaysia unveiled a new addition to their nova Y-series lineup, the HUAWEI nova Y90.

It’s a midrange that I found a lot of similarities to the HONOR X9 5G which I reviewed two months ago.

The nova Y90 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chip and only come with one configuration, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Sports a 6.7-inch HUAWEI Edgeless FullView FHD+ display with over 94% screen-to-body ratio and supports up to 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. A center-hold punch cutout houses an 8-megapixels front camera.

Equipped with a triple rear camera setup; a 50-megapixels f/1.8 main camera alongside a depth sensor and a macro lens. No ultrawide camera on this device.

Packed with a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge. Runs on EMUI 12 with HUAWEI Mobile Services, hence apps and games downloads are only through HUAWEI AppGallery.

The HUAWEI nova Y90 comes in 3 color options; Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Crystal Blue. You can own the device for just RM 999 and available at all HUAWEI Experience Store, HUAWEI Malaysia E-store, and HUAWEI Official E-commerce; Lazada and Shopee.
