HUAWEI nova 9 Officially Available in Malaysia – Priced at RM 1,999

HUAWEI’s latest nova-series smartphone, the nova 9 is officially launched in Malaysia. It’s available for pre-order starting today for RM 1,999. Those who pre-ordered will receive freebies worth up to RM 829 including the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro and a complimentary gift from HUAWEI Mobile Services worth RM 130. HUAWEI nova 9

The HUAWEI nova 9 is an upper mid-range device that features a 10-megapixels large 1/1.56-inch sensor and RYYB colour filter. It also supports a Dual-view video function for users who are into vlogging to record both front and back together. HUAWEI nova 9 also comes with XD Fusion Engine and Ultra Vision HDR technology, which able to enhance the quality of image details in all kinds of environments through computation photography techniques. Of course, the Super Night Mode function is there that elevates the night photography experience with brighter and sharper details. The front 32-megapixels camera is also capable to shoot 4K videos.

Coming to design, the HUAWEI nova 9 comes with a curved glass design on both the front and rear. The 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED curve screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. This offers a smooth user experience and gameplay.

Talking about gameplay, the HUAWEI nova 9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G which is a gaming-centric chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is also equipped with Graphene and VC Liquid cooling technology which ensures a smooth gaming experience without overheating. Backed this device is a 4,300 mAh battery that can be fully charged under 40 minutes with the provided 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge.

It will be running on EMUI 12 and will be relying on HUAWEI AppGallery or PetalSearch to download apps. No Google Mobile Services are to be found on this device.
