Huawei has just announced their new MediaPad M2 tablet that carry a quite decent specs. Huawei claims that this tablet is 99.5% made out of metal and the unibody design has just only 7.8mm thick.
The M2 come with WiFi and LTE variants. It comes with an 8-inch Full HD display, powered with home-brewed Kirin 930 64-bits octa-core processor (which used on the flagship Huawei P8), 3GB of RAM, 16 or 64GB of on-board storage, 4,800mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera.
It will runs on EMUI 3.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-box instead of EMUI 3.1.
Price start from RMB 1,588 (about RM 973) to RMB 2,288 (about RM 1,400) depending on on-board storage and connectivities; only WiFi or LTE.
No words of releasing the tablet to Malaysia yet.
