HUAWEI Mate Xs Announced. Available in Malaysia Starting 20th March 2020

HUAWEI has officially unveiled its second foldable smartphone at Barcelona, Spain, the HUAWEI Mate Xs. It’s an updated Mate X with improved hardware and updated specs.

Design-wise, it’s almost an identical with the Mate X but with an improved Falcon Wing hinge that fold the display.

Specs-wise, now it powered by Kirin 990 5G that found on the HUAWEI Mate30 Pro 5G and mated with 8GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage.

The device sports front 6.6-inch display and the rear 6.38-inch. It will turn into an 8-inch once it’s unfolded.

On the rear is a quad-rear camera with Leica lens, 40-megapixels main camera, a 16-megapixels ultra-wide, an 8-megapixels telephoto that capable of 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom and a 3D ToF camera.

It packed with 4,500 mAh battery and supports HUAWEI’s all-new 55W SuperCharge which claimed to charge 85% in just 30 minutes. The HUAWEI Mate Xs will be running on EMUI 10 based on Android 10 without GMS instead HMS.

HUAWEI Mate Xs will be available for sales starting March 2020 with the price of € 2,499 (~MYR 11,327) in Europe. HUAWEI Malaysia also has just confirmed it will be available in Malaysia market starting 20th March 2020 and the price will only be revealed when the date is near.
