After the successful launch of the HUAWEI’s 2020 flagship tablet, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro just last month. HUAWEI Malaysia brought in two more budget-friendly tablet; HUAWEI MatePad and HUAWEI MatePad T.

The HUAWEI MatePad has actually launched a few weeks ago in China. It features a decent mid-range processor, the HUAWEI Kirin 810 processor. HUAWEI Malaysia brought in the mid-tier with LTE cellular, 6GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

It sports a 10.4-inch IPS panel with 2,000 x 1,200 resolutions display. It equipped with a single 8-megapixels rear camera and front camera.

The MatePad did adopt few of the feature from the “Pro” tablet including quad-speaker tuned by Harman Kardon, supports of HUAWEI M-Pencil, HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard and packed with 7,250 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

With the HUAWEI’s latest EMUI 10, the MatePad also features HUAWEI Share, which enables Multi-screen Collaboration, HUAWEI App Multiplier, Multi-Window and HUAWEI MeeTime.

As for the HUAWEI MatePad T, it’s a smaller tablet that sports an 8-inch 1,280 x 800 resolution IPS display panel. It powered by Octa-core MTK MT8768 with up to 2.0 GHz clock speed and coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can further expand via microSD card.

The HUAWEI MatePad T has 4G LTE capability and runs on the latest EMUI 10.0.1 based on Android 10. It feature single 2-megapixels front camera for video calls and a 5-megapixels rear camera.

To keep the lights on is a 5,100 mAh battery and come with only 1 colour option; Deepsea Blue.

Both of the tablets will be available beginning 16th May 2020 via HUAWEI Official Online Store. The retailing price ar RM 1,399 and RM 559 respectively. For those who purchased the HUAWEI MatePad will receive Flip Cover, HUAWEI Video Premium Subscription (valid 3 months) and HUAWEI Mobile Cloud 15GB (12-months validity) as for the HUAWEI MatePad T will get HUAWEI Video Premium Subscription (valid 3 months) and HUAWEI Mobile Cloud 15GB (12-months validity)
