HTC 10 Are Now Official. Snapdragon 820, New 12MP HTC Ultrapixel Camera & HTC BoomSound

Today HTC has announced it new flagship device, the HTC 10. This is the successor of the HTC M9 where HTC has officially dropped the “M” prefix starting now.

HTC no longer offering high megapixel camera instead focusing on large and sensitive camera sensor. Like others 2016’s flagship, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM is no exception. It sports a 5.2-inch QHD Super LCD 5 display and wrapped with an unibody aluminium design with slight curvy edges on the rear.

The physical home button has integrated with fingerprint sensor just like you found on Samsung. It has two storage options; 32GB or 64GB with microSD card slot support.

Finally HTC learnt that megapixel doesn’t really count and integrated a new 12 megapixel HTC Ultrapixel with a large 1.55 µm pixels sensor and f/1.8 aperture lens rear camera. It also come with OIS and Laser AF.

As for the front selfie camera, it packed with an OIS camera and has a 5 megapixel Ultrapixel 1.34 µm pixelss with f/1.8 aperture.

The HTC BoomSound reintroduced again with two-ways speaker and each speaker has it own amp. To keep the lights on, it has a 3,000mAh battery and support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 with USB Type-C.

It comes with 4 colors; Black, Silver, Gold and Red (just for Japan)

The HTC 10 is available in US for pre-order now and will ready to ships in May 2016. The price starts from US$ 699 (approx RM 2,760) for 32GB model.
