HONOR Malaysia added new addition of its X-series smartphone with 5G for sub RM 1,000. The HONOR X8 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor coupled with 6GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage.

I wouldn’t say it’s an upgrade except for the 5G network connectivity, in fact, there are a lot of features that have been discounted. It now sports a small and lower resolution display; a 6.5-inch HD+, 48-megapixels main camera, and axed the ultrawide rear camera.

It still retains the 22.5W fast charging while increasing the battery size to 5,000 mAh battery.
