HONOR 9X & 9X Pro Announced – Kirin 810, Pop-up Camera & FullView Display

HONOR has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, HONOR 9X and 9X Pro. The difference between the two was only the rear camera.

Both sports a 6.59-inch FullView Full HD+ resolution display without any notch or hole-punch. It powered by HUAWEI’s new 7nm process Kirin 810 which similar performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.

Design-wise, it does have a few similarity with the HUAWEI P30-series, the candy bar design and vertical line camera arrangement. It comes with a 16-megapixels f/2.2 pop-up camera instead of having notches on the display. It has a physical fingerprint scanner built into the side power button.

The HONOR 9X comes with three configurations; 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. Whereby the HONOR 9X Pro gets two configurations; 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.

Here’s the difference between the two smartphones, the HONOR 9X comes with dual-rear camera setup; 48-megapixels f/1.8 and a 2-megapixels f/2.4 depth sensor. The HONOR 9X Pro get an additional 8-megapixels f/2.4 ultra-wide angle.

Both devices packed with 4,000 mAh battery and come with three colour options; Black, Blue and Red.
