honor 9i Unveiled! Budget Version of HUAWEI nova 3e

Today in Beijing, China, honor has unveiled its latest mid-range phone, the honor 9i.

The mid ranger is basically a cheaper version of the HUAWEI nova 3e sporting a 5.84-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 and also a notch on top of the display.

Since its a mid-range device, it powered with HUAWEI HiSilicon Kiron 659 with storage variants of 64GB and 128GB and both paired with 4GB of RAM.

The fingerprint scanner is located on the rear and availed in four color options; Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, Jade Green and Dream Purple (which look like Pink to me)

Cameras wise, the front camera mounted a 16-megapixels 2.0 μm camera sensor. It also features beauty mode and AR function. Whereas the rear cameras sport a 13-megapixels plus 2-megapixels dual-camera setup.

Just like other HUAWEI and honor latest device, it loaded with EMUI 8 sitting on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Others features include dual SIM, 802.11ac Wireless, 3.5 mm audio jack, 3,000 mAh battery.

The honor 9i will be priced at RMB 1,399 (approx. RM 870) and RMB 1,699 (around RM 1,056) for 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It will be officially available in China at the moment starting today.
