Today Honor has officially announced their latest flagship, Honor 9 to replace the Honor 8.
Like other Honor devices, the spec are very close with the Huawei phone but at cheaper price tag. This same goes with the Honor 9. The Honor 9 sports a 5.15-inch Full HD display and powered by Huawei Kirin 960 processor. Here’s the best part, it comes with either 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM variants together with 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage. The storage can be further expands via microSD card slot that sit on the second SIM slot.
Camera wise similar dual-camera setup that found on the Huawei P10 just that without the Leica branding. It combines of 20 megapixel monochrome and a 12 megapixel color camera sensors. As for selfie is an 8 megapixel camera.
Design it does resembling the Xiaomi Mi6 and Galaxy Note 5 with dual curved rear glass.
The Honor 9 will be running on the company latest EMUI 5.1 which based on Android 7.0 Nougat. To keep the lights on is a 3,200 mAh battery. It also feature an AKM Hi-Fi audio chip that promises to improve audio experience.
Honor 9 will be officially available to purchase first in China on 16th of June follow by other countries next. It will be priced from RMB 2,299 and up to RMB 2,999 which translated around RM 1,445 to RM 1,883. It comes with four color options; Blue, Amber Gold, Gray and Black.
