DxOMark has just announced Google Pixel 2 has set a new record for overall smartphone quality with 98 scores ousted the Apple iPhone 8 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. What impressed it manages this despite it only having a single camera design for its main camera.

The Pixel 2’s photo performance was impressively good garnered 99 points where it’s only 1 points behind the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which scored 100 points. The video performance on the Pixel 2 outshined others device and scored 96 points.
