Huawei first Nexus smartphone has confirmed with the name of Nexus 6P and a deck of it slides leaked ahead the launch which will be taking place tomorrow.
Sorry for being spoiler but here’s what you expect of the Nexus 6P.
The Nexus 6P will be first Nexus flagship to use all-metal built in unibody design. It will have a 5.7-inch WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 resolution) protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1, an octa-core processor with Adreno 430 GPU under the hood. RAM was not mentioned but according to source it will only have a disappointed 3GB of RAM. Fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the phone with one touch to unlock the phone. It also features dual front-ported speakers for better sound experience.
3,450mAh battery will be packed inside Nexus 6P. It will be having USB Type-C with fast charging and quicker data transfer.
Camera’s hardware wise it will have a 12.3 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 lens but it has a quite large sensor of 1.55μM pixel that capable to capture more lights that a conventional sensor. As for the front facing camera, sat a 8 megapixel camera that uses 1.4μM pixel sensor.
As what we all know, Nexus 6P will be running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features all the new Google services such as Google Now-on-Tap, support native fingerprint verification and more that introduced during Google I/O 2015.
The Nexus 6P will offered in Aluminium, Graphite, Frost and Gold (Gold only available in Japan, for now). Storage options will be 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
More information will be announced tomorrow along with the second Nexus device, Nexus 5X from LG.
