Google I/O 2015: Google Maps & YouTube Offline Available by Q4’15

Google announcing offline search in its Google Maps along with offline turn-by-turn voice navigation. This is competing with the Nokia HERE Maps.
 

The offline search feature will be joined with YouTube Offline.

This aimed to help users where access to data is either expensive and bad coverage. This allows the users to downloads and keep the YouTube videos on your device for up to 48 hours before it wiped off as cache to optimize your device’s storage.

This offline features totally make sense when you have an expensive data charges and spotty coverage where you can have all your YouTube video downloaded at your trusted home’s ISP either Fiber or DSL.

The Offline Google Maps & Offline YouTube will be announced by Q4’15
