[DIY] How To Make 3D Hologram Projection With Your Smartphone

Today I’m gonna show you on how to make a 3D hologram projection with your smartphone. It’s quite easy and you would be amazed to see a ghostly 3D image floating on top of your smartphone’s display.

Things needed
● Plain white paper. If you have graph paper would be better
● Transparent film or hard plastic (CD case)
● A pen
● Cellophane Tape
● Blade & scissors
● Your smartphone
First sketch out a trapezoid shape on the white paper/graph paper like below:

1cm x 3.5cm x 6cm. Cut it out accord to the outline.

Next, place it on top of the transparent film / plastic and cut the shape into it. We would need four pieces

Finally joint all the corners together with transparent cellophane tape.

Now find a dark room to test it out.

Launch youtube on your smartphone then search for hologram video. Place the shape in the middle over the video in full screen. Recommended to switch the display brightness to maximum for better viewing experience.
