Computex 2015: MediaTek Helio P10, Mid Range CPU with Faster LTE

MediaTek at Computex 2015 unveiled another mid range CPU which offer faster LTE speed at cheaper price.

This is a new series from MediaTek, the Helio P10. The P series stand for “Premium Performance” whereby the X series is for “Extreme Performance” The 28nm process SoC are placed in between the Helio X10 (CPU that found on HTC M9+) and the Helio X20.

The Helio P10 is a 64-bit octa core processor that has 700MHz dual-core 64-bit Mali T860 and LTE Cat 6 which support up to 300 Mbps (Download) / 50 Mbps (Upload)

Beside that P10 has integrated TrueBright ISP engine which support “ultra-sensitive” RWWB optical sensor which capture twice more light as traditional RGB sensor and even better than its RGBW counterpart.

P10 comes with HiFi audio performance rated at 110dB SNR and -95dB THD, no additional dedicated audio chip. Helio P10 are supported MiraVision 2.0 which capable to run 60 fps full HD display along with an “UltraDumming” mode for late night reading and “BluLight Defender” mode to reduce eye fatique.

According to MediaTek will be shipping this chip in Q3’15 and few of the first devices may arrive in the Q4’15,
