Today HTC has launched another HTC One that very much identical with M9+ but lacks of metal body and missing Duo Camera. The call it HTC One ME. Instead of using metal body poly-carbonate and metal which is not a very bad idea to have better grip as compare to the premium full metal body.
Basically it shared almost the same internal hardware that M9+ has, MediaTek MT6795 an octa-core that clocked 2.2GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with expandable memory, physical home button with fingerprint reader, 5.2-inch QHD display, dual 4G LTE and battery capacity of 2,840mAh.
The different would be the rear camera with missing duo camera that only have 20 megapixel sensor with f/2.2 and UltraPixel 4 megapixel front camera.
The One ME seem would be available in China only but there’s a possible to reach out to other country that support same network bands.
No info on pricing and availability yet, it most likely slight cheaper than the current M9+ by few hundred. Currently the HTC M9+ are selling at RM 2,599, probably it would be placed RM 1,999 to be in competitive with other flagship device.
