TrustedReviews received an exclusive interview with the ASUS’s chairman Mr. Jonney Shih. One of the question that asked by TrustedReviews is why ASUS didn’t include USB Type-C on their new ASUS ZenFone 2 that announced during the IFA 2015?
Shih replied “You will see the answer when you see the ZenFone 3”
This is a confirm answer that ASUS will be announcing the ZenFone 3 that features USB Type-C. USB Type-C are not widely use at the moment but there are few manufactures to use the USB Type-C standard like the new MacBook Air, Google’s new Nexus 5 & Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 and also ZUK Z1.
What would you expect from ASUS with the new ZenFone 3? Retaining Intel SoC or shift over to Qualcomm?
