ASUS Malaysia has just launched the ROG Phone 3 and it comes with three variants; ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition and 2 ROG Phone 3 with 12GB or 16GB RAM configuration.
The differences between ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition and the standard ROG Phone 3 are the processor, RAM and storage configuration. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 coupled with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage technology.
Whereas the ASUS ROG Phone 3 is powered by a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ mated with 12GB of 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Both get the same 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The ASUS ROG Phone 3 sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED Full HD+ resolution display with an ultra fast 144Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch-sampling rate. The display has less than 1 Delta-E colour accuracy.
On the rear is triple rear camera setup; 64-megapixels SONY IMX686, an ultra-wide-angle and a telephone camera let. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000mAh battery that supports ASUS 30W HyperCharge.
So the ASUS ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition is priced at RM 2,999, the ROG Phone 3 with 12GB of RAM variant is RM 3,799 whereby the top-tier 16GB RAM variant is priced at RM 4,499.
It bundled with ASUS AeroActive Cooler 3 and AeroCase which worth RM 399 with purchases of any ASUS ROG Phone 3 variant. It comes with a 1-year local warranty by ASUS Malaysia.
