Today Apple Inc. has introduced a new smartphone, iPhone SE. At first you may get confused whether it’s the iPhone 5s. The new 4-inch device is designed for people who still prefer smaller iPhone and pocket friendly but packed with serious hardware.

The Apple iPhone SE is power-packed with the same iPhone 6s internal hardware, runs on Apple’s powerful A9 chip and M9 motion coprocessor. It also feature Apple’s Retina display, fingerprint Touch ID and of course NFC for ApplePay.

This beastly little device integrated with 12 megapixel iSight camera with Focus Pixels and True Tone flash that you can find on the iPhone 6S. As for the FaceTime camera it only capable to take 1.2 megapixels photos.

It also support faster LTE, VoLTE, 802.11ac WiFi and WiFi calls. Apple promised much better and improved battery despite with all power-packed hardware in such small housing.

What actually missing is the Apple’s 3D Touch which only available in iPhone 6s and 6s Plus at the moment.

The iPhone SE will go on sale this 31st March and certain countries start taking pre-order. The starting prices is at US$ 399 for 16GB and US$ 499 for 64GB. This probably is the first sub RM 2,000 smartphone from Apple. Our neighbor country, Singapore will be the one of the first country to get the iPhone SE and priced higher at SD$ 658 for 16GB and SG$ 828 for 64GB.
