Google has finally revealed what’s the M in Android M stands for. It’s Marshmallow.
The new Android OS, Android 6.0 that previewed at Android I/O Conference in May has finalized the name and Google also released the finished version of Android 6.0 SDK of Marshmallow software preview that can be sideload on Nexus device.
Android Marshmallow has a much simpler approach to permissions control apps access and added numerous features and tweaks like Android Pay mobile wallet, USB Type-C support over Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Google is working on two new Nexus smartphones and most likely to be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow when it’s ready for showcase.
