AGI Showcases Faster Storage and Memory Products at COMPUTEX 2025

At COMPUTEX 2025, AGI made a strong comeback with a clear goal: to offer faster performance and meet the needs of today’s users across different devices. The company revealed a range of new products designed for gamers, creators, and anyone who needs reliable, high-speed storage.

Improved Performance Testing

To go with these high speeds, AGI introduced a new AI-powered stability test tool. This tool helps monitor how well the SSDs perform during long periods of reading and writing data. Early tests showed that the new Gen5 drives are more stable than the older Gen4 models, making them ideal for users who work with large files or heavy workloads.

Top Highlight: AI858 SSD and Gen5 Prototypes

AGI’s main highlight this year is the new AI858 SSD, part of its new AI series. It delivers read speeds up to 14,000 MB/sand write speeds up to 12,000 MB/s, making it the fastest SSD the company has ever made.

Alongside the AI858, AGI introduced two prototype Gen5 SSDs — Project P14 and Project P10.

  • Project P14 matches the AI858 in performance, with 14,000 MB/s read and write speeds.
  • Project P10 is more compact, with a slimmer heatsink and slightly slower speeds — 10,000 MB/s read and 8,000 MB/s write — aimed at smaller PCs and laptops where space is limited.

Faster DDR5 Memory with More Style

AGI also updated its TurboJet UD858 DDR5 memory kits, which now come in different colors for users who want to match their PC builds. These memory kits offer speeds ranging from 6000 MT/s to 8400 MT/s, making them suitable for everyday users and overclocking fans alike.

Gaming Storage: TF338 microSD Express

One of AGI’s more gamer-focused announcements was the TF338 microSD Express card. It’s scheduled to launch on June 10, just a day before the rumored release of the Nintendo Switch 2. While full details are still unknown, AGI says the card is built to reduce loading times and boost performance for next-gen handheld gaming.

New Portable SSDs for On-the-Go Users

AGI also refreshed its portable SSD lineup:

  • The EDM38 Pro now reaches speeds of 4000 MB/s read and 3600 MB/s write, nearly double that of its previous version.
  • The smaller ED138 Pro offers improved speeds of 550 MB/s read and 500 MB/s write, all in a more compact design.

Aiming for a Wider Audience

AGI’s presence at COMPUTEX 2025 shows its plan to reach a wide range of users from high-performance desktop builders to mobile gamers and creators on the move. With faster Gen5 SSDs, updated memory kits, and portable drives, AGI is positioning itself as a flexible and forward-looking brand. The new microSD card, aimed at upcoming gaming devices, also shows AGI’s interest in the growing handheld gaming market.
