ZTE Malaysia has officially launched its latest gaming-focused smartphones, the nubia Neo 3 and nubia Neo 3 GT, delivering high-performance features at an affordable price for mobile gamers across the country. Designed with cutting-edge aesthetics and powerful hardware, the Neo 3 series is built to impress both casual and serious gamers.
The nubia Neo 3 GT stands out with its cyber-mecha inspired design, sharp lines, and the upgraded “Hero Eye” — now with a 3D texture and customizable RGB lighting. Both devices come with an IP54 rating, offering resistance to dust and water splashes. The Neo 3 is available in Cyber Silver, Shadow Black, and Titanium Gold, while the Neo 3 GT comes in Electro Yellow and Interstellar Gray.
Both smartphones feature 6.8-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates for ultra-smooth gaming. The Neo 3 uses an IPS panel, while the Neo 3 GT upgrades to an OLED display with up to 1,300 nits peak brightness for vibrant visuals.
Powering the Neo 3 is the Unisoc T8300 chipset, while the Neo 3 GT is equipped with the more advanced Unisoc T9100 processor. Both models include dual gaming shoulder triggers and RGB lighting, enhancing gameplay and control.
Battery life is another strong point, with both models packing a 6,000mAh battery. The Neo 3 supports 33W fast charging, while the Neo 3 GT features 80W fast charging. Bypass Charging helps maintain battery health during extended gaming sessions, and the Neo 3 GT also includes a large 4083mm² VC cooling system for improved thermal management.
The nubia Neo 3 starts at RM999, and the Neo 3 GT is priced from RM1,199. Pre-orders began on 14th April 2025 with shipments and official sales starting from 21st April 2025. The devices will be available through official nubia channels and selected retailers.
