HONOR Malaysia has officially launched the HONOR Magic V5, the world’s slimmest foldable smartphone, in Malaysia, maintaining its RM6,999 price for the third consecutive year while delivering significant hardware and software upgrades.
Measuring just 8.8mm slim and 4.1mm unfolded, the Magic V5 packs a 5820mAh silicon-carbon battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and industry-leading AI enhancements for seamless performance. It also features a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 100x zoom, complemented by advanced AI imaging tools and editing features, empowering professional-grade photography on the go.
The foldable is engineered with Aerospace Special Fiber casing, upgraded anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield, and a hinge rated for 500,000 folds, ensuring durability alongside its slim profile. Both displays offer 4,320Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits for clear outdoor visibility.
For productivity, the 7.95-inch inner screen supports a new Three Split Screen for efficient multitasking, while Gemini Live and AI Notes streamline meetings, travel planning, and shopping.
The Magic V5 is now available for pre-order until 24 July 2025 with free gifts worth RM3,497, including a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 speaker and extended protection plans.
Customers can trade in old devices for additional rebates of RM400 and opt for a 0% interest 24-month installment plan at RM292 per month for easier ownership.
The Magic V5 supports HONOR Share and iCloud Cloning, allowing seamless file transfer and data migration from iOS devices.
Available in Dawn Gold, Ivory White, Silk Brown, and Black, the HONOR Magic V5 comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
