Samsung One UI 7 is Coming to More Galaxy Devices This April

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the official launch of One UI 7 in Malaysia, set to roll out from 14th April 2025. This update introduces a bold, new design focused on greater personalization and enhanced control for Galaxy users. One UI 7 also integrates advanced AI features, making interactions with devices more intuitive than ever before.

A Bold New Design for Personalization

One UI 7 offers a simplified, impactful design that enhances customization options. Key updates include a redesigned home screen, new widgets, and an improved lock screen for a more seamless user experience. The “Now Bar 2” feature offers real-time updates, allowing users to easily check things like workout progress or music playing through Galaxy Buds—all without unlocking the phone.

Smarter AI Features for Enhanced Productivity

One UI 7 takes advantage of AI to simplify tasks and improve user productivity. The new “AI Select 3” intuitively recommends actions based on context. For example, users can quickly save a video as a GIF with a simple swipe on the Edge Panel. “Writing Assist 4” helps automatically format text or summarize content, while “Drawing Assist 5” allows users to combine text prompts and images for more creative freedom.

Advanced editing features like “Audio Eraser 6” make it easy to remove unwanted background noise in videos, while deeper integration with Google Gemini 7 allows users to control their device through natural voice commands.

Improved Search and Control with Natural Language

One UI 7 brings improved natural language search, making it easier to adjust device settings. For example, users can say “My eyes are feeling tired” to quickly adjust the brightness or enable the Eye Comfort Shield.

Availability

The One UI 7 update will begin rolling out in Malaysia on 14th April 2025, and will expand to more Galaxy devices in the following weeks. Supported devices include the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and various Galaxy tablets like the Tab S10 and Tab S9 series.

With One UI 7, Samsung is set to elevate the user experience with its bold new design and smart AI features.
