Discovery, is now available on Astro’s Ultra and Ulti connected boxes. This new integration offers Astro customers access to a wider range of premium content, making their viewing experience even better.
Max brings together a variety of top entertainment, including blockbuster movies, popular TV shows, documentaries, and family-friendly content from well-known brands like HBO, Harry Potter, DC Universe, Discovery, Cartoon Network, and HGTV—all in one place. Now, with Max available on Astro’s Ultra and Ulti boxes, customers can easily stream their favorite shows and movies without the need to switch devices, offering more convenience and enjoyment.
Customers who are subscribed to the Astro Movies Pack, Astro One Epic Pack, or the Max app add-on can easily access Max through their Astro Ultra and Ulti boxes. These customers can also upgrade to the Max Ultimate plan for an additional RM18/month* to get an even better streaming experience.
For other Astro customers, they can add HBO channels by subscribing to the Max Standard or Max Ultimate plans for RM33.90/month* or RM51.90/month* respectively. These plans give access to hit shows like The Big Bang Theory, Friends, the Harry Potter movies, Deadliest Catch, Adventure Time, and new releases like The White Lotus season three, Suits LA, and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
To start using the Max app on their Ultra or Ulti box, customers just need to press the “Home” button on their Astro remote, find the Max app in the “Apps” section, and follow the simple steps to log in.
Astro One Packs are customizable, allowing customers to add over 12 popular streaming apps like Max, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Viu, and more. Customers can easily manage their subscriptions, switch between different packs and add-ons, or choose new services anytime through the My Astro app.
