Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, a cutting-edge chipset developed in collaboration with Samsung to power the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra globally. This next-generation platform delivers unprecedented performance with the world’s fastest second-generation custom Qualcomm Oryon CPU, a game-changing Adreno GPU, and a Hexagon NPU for advanced AI capabilities.
Designed for seamless on-device AI, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy enhances the Galaxy AI experience, enabling intuitive interactions and next-level productivity. With the Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System and FastConnect 7800, users can enjoy premium 5G and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, while Snapdragon Satellite introduces native two-way satellite messaging, a first for Android devices.
Samsung and Qualcomm’s deep collaboration has also led to breakthrough imaging and display optimizations. The Qualcomm Spectra ISP now supports Spatio-Temporal Filter (STF) technology, enhancing low-light video capture at 8K 30fps with superior power efficiency.
