Kingston Technology announced the upcoming release of its Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMM modules. These modules are optimized for Intel’s 800-series chipset, the first to utilize Clocked Unbuffered DIMMs (CUDIMMs) featuring a Client Clock Driver (CKD), which ensures robust signal integrity at 6400MT/s by buffering and redriving the clock signal from the processor. This design distinguishes CUDIMMs from standard DDR5 UDIMMs, a change mandated by JEDEC.
Kingston’s FURY Renegade CUDIMMs are available in both RGB and non-RGB models, starting at an overclocked speed of 8400MT/s. Users can select from 24GB single modules or 48GB dual-channel kits, compatible with Intel’s 800-series motherboards. To confirm specific speed and capacity compatibility, Kingston recommends consulting the motherboard manufacturer’s Qualified Vendor List (QVL) or the Kingston Configurator.
“Our new 8400MT/s CUDIMM modules have been rigorously tested, qualified by leading motherboard brands, and are Intel XMP certified on Intel Z890 motherboards paired with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors,” Kingston said. “This release enables professionals to push their systems to new heights without sacrificing signal integrity.”
Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMMs will be available starting in December this year.
