vivo Malaysia has launched the V40 and V40 Pro, designed to elevate mobile portrait photography. Co-engineered with ZEISS, these smartphones feature a professional-grade portrait system with multifocal lens capabilities, enabling users to capture high-quality portraits. Despite housing a powerful 5500 mAh battery, the V40 series remains slim and lightweight.
The V40 and V40 Pro are equipped with a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera, a 50MP telephoto portrait camera (V40 Pro), and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, ensuring exceptional image quality. The upgraded AI Aura Light Portrait feature enhances studio-quality lighting for various scenarios, including backlit settings.
These devices also offer seamless performance, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ (V40 Pro) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (V40) processors, with up to 12GB + 12GB Extended RAM. The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, while the 1.5K Ultra Clear Sunlight Display provides vibrant visuals.
The V40 series features a slim, durable design, available in several stylish colors. The V40 comes in Stellar Silver, Nebula Purple, and Sunglow Peach, while the V40 Pro is available in Moonlight White and Stellar Silver.
vivo has partnered with Malaysian celebrities Daiyan Trisha and Hael Husaini to showcase the V40 series’ camera capabilities in a music video. The devices will be available starting on 31st August 2024, with prices starting at RM 1,999 for the V40 and RM 3,299 for the V40 Pro. Pre-orders come with exclusive gifts.
