At Computex 2024, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon introduced Copilot+ PCs, powered by Snapdragon® X Elite and Snapdragon® X Plus Platforms. These advanced PCs promise to revolutionize productivity, creativity, and entertainment with integrated AI and exceptional performance.
Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm President and CEO emphasized the Snapdragon X Series’ Neural Processing Unit (NPU) as a key innovation, enabling superior performance and significant power savings by offloading AI tasks from the CPU and GPU. The Snapdragon X Elite leads in performance, offering up to 51% faster CPU performance and 65% less power consumption compared to competitors.
Qualcomm also showcased its AI development tools, including the Qualcomm® AI Hub and the new Snapdragon® Dev Kit for Windows, which streamline the creation of next-generation AI applications. These tools ensure that developers can efficiently deploy AI models on Snapdragon-powered devices, cementing Qualcomm’s leadership in the PC ecosystem.
