China is the first country to receive the new ASUS ROG Phone 2 in collaboration with Tencent and the pre-order site has gone live unveiling the pricing of the gaming smartphone.
It’s available over at JD.com with the price of RMB 3,499 (~MYR2,094) for the base model 8GB+128GB and the top of the line 12GB+512GB at RMB 5,999 (~MYR 3,590).
According to GSMArena, there are over 1.6million people register-of-interest for the smartphone. The Tencent’s affiliante variant of ROG Phone 2 gets to such aggresive price gets to install lot of bloatware for the China market, similar to Amazon devices where the company subsidies the devices.
As for the international market will have to wait somewhere in September for pricing and availability.
